| Recipient Org: Description | Founded in 1902, Shalford Football Club is run by a Club Committee comprised of 5 individuals, who are responsible for the management and all affairs of the club, with the additional support of further volunteers. The club currently has approximately 65 members, which includes a successful Youth Academy providing younger players with an introduction to the men's game. The club's Under 21s team and newly established Under 18s team, play in the Guildford and Woking Alliance League. The club's 'senior' first XI and reserves are members of the Surrey County Intermediate League. The club is a member of the Tillingbourne Valley Sports Association. In line with a clause within the club's constitution, subscription fees are "set at a level that will not pose a significant obstacle to community paricipation" in the sport. |
