Recipient Org: Description Ewell Christian Fellowship Trust was established in 1990 and is a registered charity in this name, although operating under the working name of 'Generation Church'. The church is based at West Ewell Infants School on Ruxley Lane, with Generation Resource Centre (comprising the church offices and a small meeting room) located in a separate building at the rear of the school site. The charity is governed by a Board of 6 Trustees and operates on the commitment of 3 members of part-time staff, supported by over 175 volunteers. As well as regular Sunday services, small groups and other Christian meetings, the church provides outreach activities into the local community. This has included the running of the Lighthouse Education Project for children and young people from the local community who are home-schooled, as well as those at risk of exclusion from school and children from local traveller families. Current projects include Friday Friends - A project for isolated over-60s within the community which provides a place where people can come and enjoy company, crafts, games and talks; Epsom & Ewell Foodbank; and two clubs for 5-11 year-olds that have been running weekly for over 20 years and are open to the whole community.
