Recipient Org: Description | Redhill Youth Football Club (RYFC) is a youth football club with around 10 teams. It was established in 1996 and encourages young people locally to get involved in football. RYFC provides mixed-sided football in a safe, structured and fun environment for all children up to the age of and including those aged 18 years. The club is run by volunteers. 15 volunteers are involved in running the teams and they are supported by a Management Committee of 5 people. Many of the volunteers are parents of children. The Club is affiliated to Surrey County Football Association and is a member of the Surrey Youth Football League as well as the Epsom and Ewell League. Training sessions run for an hour on one evening per week and are provided by Volunteer Coaches. Children play a game of football ether on a Saturday or Sunday morning against other teams in the area. The senior teams (for those over 18 years of age) are under Redhill Town Football Club which is separately constituted and which has a different FA number to that of RYFC. |
