Recipient Org: Description Peer Productions (PP) is a not for profit youth arts training organisation based in Woking. Although established in 2006 as a Community Interest Company (CIC), the organisation became a registered charity in 2013 in order to take on Trustees and have a more robust operating structure. Each year, PP trains a team of 12-15 young people (aged 17-24 years) as actors and peer educators, empowering them to deliver a series of youth arts projects in the community. The organisation works with disadvantaged groups, such as homeless young people, young parents and people with disabilities, using their true stories to create touring theatre and film projects to educate other young people. The projects are designed to reach even the most disengaged learners and give young people the knowledge they need to raise aspirations and make informed life choices._x000D_ The charity currently employs 3 full-time and 2 part-time staff and is governed by a Board of 7 Trustees.
