The Church is greatly involved in the community with teams going out fortnightly to maintain local residents' gardens, provision of a free money & benefits advice service, toddler group, school lessons and assemblies, youth and children's work. Three Counties Church also supported the applicant to set up the Woolmer Hill Mum's Group in September 2015. Whilst the group is independent from the Church, it is not a constituted group, so the Church continues to support the applicant in the group's running and organisation, and manages any funds received for the group. The group aims to reach out to young families in an isolated estate on the edge of Haslemere. |
