Addressing the quality of primary education in Lesotho (360G-DEPF-100052)

The Centre for Evaluation and Monitoring (CEM) at Durham University developed the International Performance Indicators in Primary Schools (iPIPS) project, which aims to improve primary education provision across the world. iPIPS allows teachers to understand a baseline of knowledge in the first year of primary school against which teachers can then plan and implement tailored learning strategies. The CEM team will pilot the iPIPS methodology in Lesotho, in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
