Recipient Org: Description | Wesley Memorial Methodist Church's aims are to bring the Christian gospel to all, and to offer worship regularly. However, Methodists have aways been known for social action, and to that end, Wesley Memorial has a regular Wednesday open coffee morning much enjoyed by elderly people. We are also participating in the Oxford Winter Night Shelter project which will invite 10 recommended homeless people to sleep in a church from January to March; and other negotiations with Aspire and Age UK may result in more useful projects to help disadvantaged people. |
