Recipient Org: Description Reducing the Risk was established to: -increase the safety and wellbeing of adults and children affected through domestic abuse, -foster healthy relationships, -protect people who are vulnerable to abuse and exploitation, -strengthen multi-agency partnership to tackle abuse safely and effectively. We are committed to: - responding flexibly to the individual circumstances of everyone who uses our services, and remaining alongside for as long as needed - the safety and empowerment of victims and professionals - building close coordinated practice with other services - keeping children's safeguarding at the heart of all we do. Our services for victims and children are based in Oxfordshire. We deliver training regionally and nationally and develop innovative practice to meet emerging needs. We provide: -Oxfordshire’s Independent Domestic Violence Advisor Service for adults and children at high risk. While independent, we work closely with police, child social care and other services, -training and support for over 1100 front line champions from a wide range of agencies who meet in networks -website and e-bulletin -the Cherwell outreach service -support for the development of therapeutic services for children and young people -a domestic abuse and mental health pilot service - an emergency fund -a range of training.
