Nottingham Community Mentoring project (360G-blf-0030109470)
This Nottingham project is the development of a pilot project held in London. The project will recruit adult volunteers from the community, train them as mentors and match them with vulnerable young people aged 11 to 14 who would benefit from one to one support. Beneficiaries may be at risk of truancy, or be victims of crime and bullying, young offenders, young people with difficult home lives and those experiencing difficulty with periods of transition, such as from primary to secondary school.
