Recipient Org: Description Full Circle aims to build positive relationships between younger and older people in Oxfordshire. Through fun and friendship in a supportive environment, Full Circle nurtures respect and understanding between generations. Our purpose is two-fold - to support the advancement of education of school age children and to support the relief of older people across Oxfordshire and beyond. Through the provision of weekly intergenerational groups, primarily within schools, we provide opportunities to share knowledge, skills and experiences across the generations. Our work provides opportunities to meet new people of all ages and backgrounds helping older people to combat loneliness and isolation which directly impacts health and well-being and supporting younger people with emotional development needs. By involving schools, we have a sustainable model which allows us to fund and manage the Full Circle groups for a short period of time before handing over group ownership to the schools.
