Recipient Org: Description Oxfordshire Lowland Search and Rescue (OxSAR) is a team of specially trained volunteers available 24/7 365 days a year to support Thames Valley Police and Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Services to search for, give emergency treatment to and recover vulnerable missing people. We operate across Oxfordshire and assist our neighbouring county teams. Many of our team are trained Flood First Responders, and we have 7 Swift Water Rescue Technicians enabling OxSAR to offer assistance in the event of major flooding in Oxfordshire or anywhere else assistance is required.
