Author-led Workshops (360G-ocf-a061600000ly8mr)

We will deliver six author-led workshops to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and those who have been excluded from mainstream schools, encouraging them to enjoy reading and writing. The authors will provide bespoke workshops designed to engage hard to reach and vulnerable young people.

Recipient Org: Description Chipping Norton Literary Festival, known as ChipLitFest, was established in 2011, registering as a charity in 2013. Our aims are to advance education and provide opportunities for the appreciation, understanding and enjoyment of literature, in particular through our annual literary festival, held in April each year, and occasional events during the academic year. Through our local schools programme that brings authors to the classroom, we aim to develop a lifelong love of reading. We are run entirely by volunteers.
