Strengthening the Voice of Young People in Northern Ireland (360G-phf-21796)

£88,781

This proposal is to help build the capacity of NCB Northern Ireland to more effectively involve children and young people in its own work and therefore to also help strengthen the voice of children and young people in Northern Ireland. At the core of the project is the recruitment of a specialist 'Participation Officer', for 18 months, with a programme of work divided into three related strands that include giving visibility to refugee, asylum-seeking and migrant children, increasing the influence young residents have in how Children's Homes are run and embedding the involvement of young people in NI in the work of NCB NI.
