This group will deliver interactive story telling sessions for children and young people. This will enable them to improve their analytical and digital skills as well as develop relationships with other children within the community.

This group will deliver arts workshops, including music, dance and theatre, for people living with dementia and mental health issues. People’s memories will also be recorded to create oral histories that celebrate their life stories, and will be made available digitally for the public to access. This will improve people’s wellbeing and address issues surrounding social isolation.

This funding will be used to support women from ethnic minorities to come together and improve communication and technology skills. The aim of the project is to reduce social isolation and empower women to share ideas and concerns both with each other and their children.
Powerchair Football League 04 Apr 2018
The group will run a series of power chair football sessions for disabled people, encouraging them to take part in activities which benefit their health and wellbeing.
Women Wellbeing Hub 30 May 2018
This project aims to support women who are isolated, socially excluded, have low self-confidence or mental health problems. Most of these women come from family backgrounds which are heavily patriarchal and are generally excluded from decision making and leadership roles. Activities including language classes, dancing and cycling, will be held as well as a fortnightly tea club where women will teach each other about their different cultures.

A series of IT themed lung health events will be funded for older people living with lung conditions. The project aims to increase their skills, knowledge and confidence in using IT.
