This group carry out football and community growing activities to promote social inclusion amongst the asylum seeker and refugee community in Glasgow. This project will allow the group to expand their community growing activities which bring local people together.

Connecting Up Project 26 May 2017
This group will use the funding to deliver new and additional services targeted at older people, people with mobility or restricted access needs, those with long term conditions, and for people experiencing isolation and loneliness. The need to do something for these specific groups was identified by the local community who wanted to ensure that these groups were not excluded and could also benefit from all the various activities run by Annexe Communities.
This project will support local families with a child of eight years and under who are experiencing challenging circumstances. Families will received one to one support in their home from a trained volunteer and will have the opportunity to attend a range of group activities including English classes and creative play sessions. The organisation will also be able to set up a parents and toddlers group and a ladies group. and two play workers.

This project is a development of the groups current activity and provides the following three strands intervention: i) an early intervention therapeutic service that supports vulnerable children and their families in very stressful situations, both emotionally and practically, ii) to work within the community to raise aspirations for the children in the area and iii) collaborate with other professionals in order to enhance their understanding of the positive impact of play therapy on children.

This initiative aims to address youth homelessness before it reaches crisis point in West Dunbartonshire. It will do this through researching and mapping the current system and carrying out tests of change including a multi-agency housing options model and primary and secondary preventative interventions. .

This charity provide support, advice and information to people with additional needs across Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and Lanarkshire. The grant will support the development of a new strand for the groups ‘Supported Employability’ project with a versatile 8 week upcycling workshop programme which will work with up to 40 people with additional needs.
The Hidden Gardens Trust 26 Jan 2018
This project will bring the local community together through a variety of existing volunteering and learning activities centred around their community garden. Volunteering programmes such as Weekend Garden Volunteers and Greenthumbs will bring people together to maintain local green spaces and make new friends. The Greenthumbs programme will also give people the opportunity to become trained volunteer gardening assistants who will help deliver community workshops.
Person to Person (P2P) 17 May 2017
This project will create opportunities for autistic people to make friends and socialise. NAS will use the funding to support 250 adults over the age of 26 who are on the autistic spectrum, they will also recruit 50 volunteers. The project will be delivered via a combination of face to face mentoring, e-befriending, telephone support and regular coffee clubs. Another element and long term goal is to see the autistic adults take ownership of more elements of the project.

This charity provides free specialist palliative care for people aged eighteen years and over. The group care for over 1,200 patients and families every year and will move to a brand new premises in Spring 2018. The funding will be used to buy four new beds in the in-patient unit.

This group will use the funding to deliver its Active East programme for young people aged between 16–24 years old who are disengaged from education, employment or training. The programme will use physical activity as a hook to get young people involved in youth work, sport and community activity in Glasgow’s East End. They will then support the young people in achieving life goals and reaching positive destinations.

This group will expand their existing community activities as well as introduce new activities for residents of Camlachie, Parkhead and Dalmarnock. Activities include expanding both the Family Meal and Homework Clubs from two to five clubs, increasing the range and content of the summer holiday programme, and increasing access for people of all abilities to the local Tea Dances. In addition it aims to ensure local people are able to sit with statutory authorities to influence services in the area.

ANYiSO WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROJECT (AWEP) 20 Dec 2017
This group will support and empower African and other BME women living in Glasgow. They will provide drop in sessions and a variety of workshops, including bead making, cloth making, knitting, cooking, and arts and crafts classes. The workshops will be run on a weekly basis and support 300 people to build their confidence and independence, and help them to integrate more fully into the local community.
