Supporting Young People to Achieve Their Potential 26 Apr 2017

This trust deliver a mentor focused programme to provide support for primary aged children who have been identified as having low self-esteem, lack confidence and are at risk of making bad decisions within the Peebles area. The funding will allow the group to enhance and continue delivering a package of support, underpinned by mentoring, to 150 young people within the nine primary schools in the area.

Building for tomorrows future 14 Mar 2018

This project will renovate the village hall, extending it to accommodate local community and activity groups including table tennis club and short-mat bowls club. This will also encourage the formation of new groups and provide a more attractive facility for social and celebration events. Once the works are completed a team of local volunteers will convert the existing small car park at the front of the building into a community garden.

Wave Project Dorset 21 Mar 2018

The funding will be used to support young people to improve their mental and physical health, through surfing. The project uses a programme of surfing and peer-mentoring, where young people learn to surf through support and guidance from local mentors and professional instructors before becoming mentors themselves.
