This centre provide afforable day care for children with parents on a low income, providing a inclusive service for children with special needs and opportunities for children to lean and develop through play and interaction. The Children's Gate Sign Time Outreach 18 Feb 2010
This group will use an award to expand its Baby Signing and music sessions to new areas across Cumbria. This will provide access for new mothers and their children to sessions which will improve communication skills amongst one another using music and signing.
This is a project by a charity in Birmingham. The group will use the funding to deliver a range of modified Forest School activities that will enable disabled children to take part. This will provide beneficiaries the opportunity to take part in new activities that will support the development of a range of skills such as development and resource planning, reduce antisocial behaviour and encourage increased concentration.
Family Support - Health Detectives 29 Feb 2012
Caudwell Children will develop a network of family support volunteers, assisting families that have children with disabilities or additional needs. The project meets the Awards for All aim of improving the quality of life. This grant for £4,995 will fund child protection accreditation costs, volunteer training, volunteer recruitment, printing, postage, telephone, stationary, volunteer expenses, travel, subsistence and administration.

Action for Children will hold a community and family fun day to celebrate the 4 year anniversary of the Monmouthshire Parent Network and its achievements within the community. This grant for Â£1,720 will fund venue hire costs, food, DJ, bouncy castle, character/face painting and messy play.

This group will use funding to deliver a eight-week programme of activities to five small community groups. The activities will relate to the Every Child Matters agenda and will include workshops on healthy eating, physical exercise, arts, crafts and drama. The project will target children and young people who have additional needs and have been affected by anti-social behaviour or domestic violence.

This voluntary organisation in Cumbria will use funding to deliver a music, story and gardening project to engage parents and young children, which will include indoor and outdoor plant growing activities. This will provide accessible activities to engage families in a rural area, and offer opportunities for parents and children to share new experiences together.
Funding will be used to celebrate the organisationâ€™s relocation to its own, new building on the grounds of the local school â€“ a move that has been 30 years in the making. The event will enable the organisation to bring together the families they have worked with in the past, as well as families they currently work with, alongside members of the community who have given their time and expertise to the project.
This three year project in the Batticaloa District of Sri Lanka will support children with physical and mental disabilities and their families. No localised facilities for children with disabilities exist since the area was ravaged by the Tsunami in December 2004. This project will set up five satellite centres offering similar services in Odamavadi, Vakarai, Palchenai, Panichankemy and Puliankandadi which are all to the north of Batticaloa where there are currently no facilities.

A project by this Lambeth based group to enable children to learn new skills and try out new activities which they usually would not be able to afford. They will run a holiday scheme where children will be tutored in Maths, English and Science and the afternoons spent doing physical activities and arts and crafts in a safe environment.
