This support group will use funding create a DVD by young parents, for young parents. This resource will contain information relating to being a young parent. Having gathered the content for the DVD, the young parents will attend a residential trip to finish the production of the DVD. Once completed, it will be distributed to young parents through The Manchester College and Surestart centres.

The Young Leaders project is a preventative response to the escalating rates of HIV and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) amongst young people in the UK.
Youth Healthy Lifestyle Trainers 16 Jun 2009
This new project, delivered by young people, will establish a healthy lifestyle programme for young people in East Sussex with the aim of reducing obesity and alcohol misuse and helping young people buy and cook healthy foods. The young people involved in the project will travel to schools and youth clubs to promote the project and recruit other young people to act as trainers.

Young Leaders Project 23 Jun 2006
This project will recruit 36 young volunteer leaders and provide 252 young people with adventurous educational opportunities within a safe environment at sea. The Ocean Youth Trust Scotland (OYTS) operate two yachts that can accommodate up to 12 young people at a time. This project will recruit 36 young volunteer leaders and will provide training leading to the RYA Competent Crew certificate.

This project will create volunteering opportunities for young people in and around the North East's cultural sector in the run up to the 2012 Olympics. For example, the Great North Run cultural programme is interested in developing a young curators programme and the new Live Art festival would like to develop live performances for and by young people. Young people will be trained in the role of becoming young advocates.
Torfaen Young Carers will run the Access, Inclusion and Participation for Young Carers programme to support and offer activities to young carers. This meets the Awards for All aim of 'extending access and participation' The grant for £5000 will fund sessional workers, volunteer costs, an activity programme to be designed for young carers and transport costs.

The project is for young people with disabilities from two local schools to take part in creative art activities at the Leaside Trust in Hackney. This will culminate in the young people producing a 12 metre public banner of their work to be hung from the Leaside Trusts panoramic balcony.
