Gardening for Mental Health 11 Apr 2018
The group will develop unused land and building within their village to be used as a community garden area and centre for people with mental health issues. This will provide volunteering opportunities, and be used to provide support and gardening, therapeutic, educational and training activities, to help improve opportunities and wellbeing.
North Tyne Youth Summer Programme 2018 09 May 2018
The group will provide a summer programme of activities for young people in local rural areas. This will provide a support network to improve their self esteem, opportunities and wellbeing.
AIM "Aspire - Inform - Motivate" 23 May 2018
The funding will be used to provide an accessible advice service for people in remote areas. The project will give support with referrals to other organisations, employment advice and completion of online and paper forms.
Northern Soul Kitchen 18 Jul 2018
The funding will be used to run a community kitchen and provide workshops for people on low incomes and people with additional needs around healthy eating, life skills and using the kitchen safely. This will provide meals for the community at nominal costs and provide a community hub with social, learning and volunteering opportunities to encourage healthy eating and lifestyles, aid independence and improve wellbeing.

The group will provide traditional woodworking, craft and social activities, for men and women from remote villages in Northumberland. This will enable them to provide more activities to help develop the skills and reduce the isolation of more older people.
