40th Anniversary Celebration Day 18 Aug 2016
The organisation will use the funding to hold a party on the farm site to celebrate their 40th anniversary year. This will enable the organisation to bring people together, lift peopleâ€™s spirits and instil a feeling of pride.
The group will use the funding to provide various support services for the local Gambian community, including awareness-raising sessions on domestic violence and abuse, family support sessions and cultural events. This will improve community cohesion through providing beneficiaries with the knowledge to better integrate with mainstream society, and providing them with opportunities to interact with their peers.
Bristol Inter-generational Peace Garden 04 May 2016
The group will use the funding to develop an intergenerational Peace Garden, which will be maintained by young and older people. This user led project will enable the beneficiaries to improve community relationships leading to better cohesion.
The group will use the funding to provide one to one support and group based learning sessions for children and young people at risk of exclusion. This will improve the education attainment, well being and future prospects of the young people.
The group will use the funding to create an outdoor nature and quiet area for children with emotional or behavioural issues and those with little or no access to green spaces. This will enable beneficiaries to use the area and learn about the environment and provide a quiet area for activities.

The group will use the funding to provide beneficiaries with the opportunity to express their community issues and solutions through the creation of music. This will broaden young peopleâ€™s experiences and raise expectations.
The World In Lights - Church Road Lantern Parade 14 Sep 2016
This project will use the funding to deliver a lantern parade activity that will focus upon challenging issues surrounding social isolation. This will bring the community together and celebrate diversity.
The group will use the funding to deliver a community gardening project to include workshops and events for the community. This is an intergenerational project that will enable the beneficiaries to connect with the wider community and learn about the rich biodiversity of the area.
The organisation will use the funding to deliver a multi-platform exhibition and community event, showing the stories of women and non-binary people. This will enable the organisation to bring the wider community together to celebrate diversity and identity.
Great big Spring Fair 13 Oct 2016
This project will use the funding to host a spring fair to celebrate the gardenâ€™s fifth birthday which will bring together users of the garden and members of the local community. In particular they want the event to be accessible to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The group will use the funding to provide mindful parenting courses for vulnerable and economically disadvantaged parents who are at risk of stress and poor wellbeing. This will enable beneficiaries to develop skills in self-care and emotional regulation, leading to improved mental health and wellbeing.

The group will use the funding to deliver extracurricular physical fitness activities for young people who experiencing the effects of poor health and social disadvantage. This will encourage those taking part to adopt healthier lifestyle choices.

This project works with young people living with HIV. The young people are supported through regular residential activities and an online forum and website. As a result young people feel more empowered and have increased confidence and self-esteem.
