A Big Cheet for 30 Years! 29 Sep 2016
This project will use the funding to bring the whole community together to celebrate its 30th anniversary. A programme of free community workshops will be delivered culminating in a celebration event to include entertainment, intergenerational story telling and a horticultural show.

This group will use the funding to install a range of outdoor equipment for use by children and the community. This will allow children and adults from different cultural backgrounds to build strong relationships and develop their English and literacy skills, which will improve their employment prospects.

The group will use the funding to create an all weather shelter for the local community which will be used as a venue for training workshops. This will provide a community facility that will enable participation in community life.

This project aims to improve the lives of vulnerable people in areas of high deprivation in South Bristol through providing a range of activities at a community centre that is being extended. The funding will be used to increase staff hours to maximise use of the facilities. Activities will target people of all age groups and will include a theatre group, social sessions for people with depression and low self-esteem and an intergenerational project involving local schools and a community choir.
Scout HQ Refurbishment 07 Oct 2015
The group will use the funding to replace the roof and floor in their Scout building. This will improve the environment in the building, addressing current health and safety issues posed by damp and a slippery floor surface.
This project will use the funding to deliver a programme of arts based numeracy and literacy learning activities for children who are experiencing the effects of educational disadvantage or have English as a second language. This will improve chances in life for these children.
The group will use the funding to improve the lives of young transgender people in the Bristol area by providing advice on coping with social anxiety, depression, low mood and suicidal thoughts. This will help beneficiaries with feelings of isolation, vulnerability, inequality and discrimination whilst improving self-image in respect of being transgender.
WGI stage 2 22 Mar 2016
Around 230 women who are trapped in, or vulnerable to street sex work will be supported to break free and build new lives away from violence, poverty and addiction. They will be reached through a women only drop-in centre, and night outreach, operated from a van which goes out to the women working on the street to provide a safe haven and practical support. Caseworkers will empower women to take control of their lives and provide them with support for as long as they need.

This charity will use the funding to run healthy food and cookery workshops for the benefit of vulnerable and disadvantaged families living locally. Health and well-being will be improved and opportunities for healthier eating will be enhanced.

The group will use the funding to provide beneficiaries with the opportunity to express their community issues and solutions through the creation of music. This will broaden young peopleâ€™s experiences and raise expectations.

The group will use the funding to provide a work skills and entrepreneurship training and mentoring programme for young people who are currently unemployed culminating in a community event. This will enable beneficiaries to gain transferable skills and a recognised qualification, improving their opportunities for future employment.

The group will use the funding to create a mentoring and empowerment project that will focus upon supporting the journey of young women into adulthood and challenge issues surrounding negative female imagery in the media. This will improve levels of mental wellbeing and self esteem for those accessing the support sessions.

WGI Stage 2 22 Mar 2016
The aim is to transform the lives of women and girls by a systemic change to policy, practice and commissioning that promotes early intervention and reduces the prevalence, impact and tolerance of domestic abuse. Women and children will find safety from abuse earlier and be better supported to recover and achieve independence, agencies involved will be presented with a clear approach unhampered by differences of view within the sector, and commissioners of services will adopt a tried and tested approach.
GENERATION CONFIDENT 24 Aug 2016
This project will use the funding to provide a training programme for single mothers. This will enable participants to learn new skills and improve their confidence and resilience, benefiting their wellbeing and future chances in life.
A fitness and assault course will be created at the school with this funding. The equipment will encourage children, who are living with learning issues, to take part in exercise leading to healthier lifestyles.
Engage Therapeutic Service CIC 09 Nov 2016
This project will deliver a pilot programme of therapy sessions for young people who are at risk of the effects of social isolation. This will improve the wellbeing of those taking part in the project.
