This project will use the funding to bring the whole community together to celebrate its 30th anniversary. A programme of free community workshops will be delivered culminating in a celebration event to include entertainment, intergenerational story telling and a horticultural show.

Empire Inclusion Project 16 Dec 2015
This is the development of an existing project supporting disadvantaged young people who are failing at school, at risk of crime or unemployment or having emotional problems, and helping them turn their lives around through non-contact boxing. This breaks down barriers to communication to help people talk honestly about the issues they face. The project will also include numeracy and literacy, employment skills, mentoring and counselling to help grow confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline.
The group will use the funding to install a new play facility for extra-curricular use by pupils and the wider community in this economically challenged area. This will encourage collaborative, inclusive play and improve community facilities.

The group will use the funding to provide education, recreation and therapy through engaging families from the local community to develop a derelict area into a playful wooded space that will be a resource for ongoing activities. This will increase community usage of public places and improve family skills.
The group will use the funding to create an outdoor classroom. This will improve an area that is currently under utilised and is not a safe and secure environment. This area will be used for outdoor learning, including developing the speaking and listening skills of children.
Energy Accessibility SErvice (EASE) 29 Jul 2015
This project will support disabled people across the South West who live in cold homes, struggle to pay for their fuel and water bills or need additional assistance to stay warm at home. In-depth, personalised one-to-one support will be provided to clients through home-visits, outreach events, advice surgeries and follow-up help. Practical support will be provided to understand energy use, systems, bills and to deal with fuel debt. Energy efficiency measures will also be carried out in homes where possible.
The group will use the funding to create a feasibility study to research alternative foodbank provision for people in crisis. This will develop the full potential of offering complete healthy cooked meals and affordable cookery learning to beneficiaries.

The organisation will use the funding to run the annual community festival. This will provide a day of entertainment for all people in the local area.
This school will use the funding to install play equipment on their grounds. Children will be able to take part in activities which benefit their development, health and wellbeing.

This will improve community cohesion through providing beneficiaries with the knowledge to better integrate with mainstream society, and providing them with opportunities to interact with their peers.
