The budget provides for 10 hours of youth work per week delivered by two experienced and trained male youth workers. Remaining funds would be allocated to regular support for the staff from our Senior Youth Leader plus activities and materials used in this kind of youth work. We plan to work closely where possible with families and with the Locality and Community Support Service and will pull together Early Help Assessments for individual young men if needed.
The project will support 6 LinkedIn volunteer workshops (part of Project Scotland's Get On In Life Workshop Programme) throughout 2015. For those young people who have not yet used the LinkedIn platform this workshop is an introduction to this tool for effective job-searching. It is also relevant for those who already have some knowledge, ensuring they are using it to its full potential.
