Renovation of the Village Hall 22 Jan 2016
Chelford Village Hall operates the village hall for the inhabitants of Chelford. The hall is used by many different groups, societies and clubs including the amateur dramatics group, the local church, Chelford Badminton Club and Chelford Tuesday Bridge Club - increasing a sense of community and helping a wide variety of people. Grant funding supported the renovation of village hall, improving facilities for many groups.

Vintage Blacon are a faith-based partnership that provides a services to promote social interaction and a healthy lifestyle for people over the age of 55. Neighbourhood Approaches to Loneliness Project brings together local people in their community to take action within their lives. Grant support helped with facilitation and support costs for the group.
Transport Nostalgia project 11 Oct 2016
Transport Nostalgia provides the opportunity for men 55 and over to get together and, partake in lively debates and discussions on all things transport, from steam engines to pistons and other transport genre. The grant enables the group to purchase for a laptop, projector, screen and pa system to enhance the transport discussion sessions for their Nostalgia project to ensure everyone can hear and see the presentations clearly - promoting further engagement, discussion, interest and enjoyment, thus supporting mental alertness and well-being.
To pay for the equality and diversity session held on 26 May 2005 for the North East Trust Secretaries Group.
