This group will use the funding to purchase new computer and display equipment and for 12 months of technical support. This will improve the group’s capacity to provide in house and external training and improve learning opportunities for families whose children have additional learning needs.

This Bristol based project offers a range of support and guidance services for people living in crisis. It works closely with people to build trusting and open relationships so that they can fully understand individual circumstances and the barriers they face. Part of this funding will be used to establish a central food hub from which they will operate a ‘food lorry’ to extend the reach of their services.

The funding will be used by a community organisation to purchase a mini-bus to transport children and young people to a variety of outdoor and camping activities. The project aims to give people opportunities for social interaction.
Peer Employment Support (YP PES) 30 Aug 2017
The funding will be used to engage young people in team building and coaching sessions, which aim to empower and educate them about employment opportunities. The project aims to build confidence, improve skills and open up access to training and employment.
This group will use the funding to provide workshops, a celebration event and a summer camp for children and adults, involving a range of activities including storytelling, dance, comedy and music, to raise awareness and understanding of Jamaican culture and history. This will enable people from different cultures and generations to get together to celebrate diversity and strengthen community cohesion.

This project works with young people living with HIV. The young people are supported through regular residential activities and an online forum and website. As a result young people feel more empowered and have increased confidence and self-esteem.

Information, Advice and Advocacy Project 04 May 2004
In BRISTOL, Age Concern is to get a Community Fund grant of £180,548 to provide information and advice for older people by phone, appointments or home visits. There will also be an outreach service in Stockwood and another for Asian elders in Easton. The grant, over three years, will pay for two members of staff and general running costs, and will contribute to rent and training.Three projects in DEVON will be receiving £231,700 between them.
The group will rent an allotment from the City Council and set up a service group of members who will attend horticulture courses and then tend the site and grow vegetables.
