The organisation have identified a need for modernising their kitchen to provide better facilities for the young people’s groups, who use the centre. The grant makes a contribution towards the kitchen refurbishment.

The project supports older people in Kensington & Chelsea to establish and maintain a volunteer programme to help older volunteers and the local community. Focussing on older refugees, older people with learning disabilities, older carers and older people from BME communities, the intention is to develop older people's potential to benefit others in the community, as well as enabling older people to live independently.

The project will support people with learning diabilities to have paid work and voluntary opportunities, and provide access to health related information. It will offer a time bank for both disabled and non-disabled people to assit people with learning disabilities. The credits gained can be traded in for training opportunities.
This organisation works with young people on the streets of the Saffron Estate and in open spaces, providing advice and guidance on issues that affect young people's lives. The project will work with young people to improve long term economic activity by increasing the number of employment and training opportunities available to them by offering courses.

This charity supports young people in housing need. It provides emergency accommodation for young people aged 16-25. This award will enable the group to put on a performance highlighting homelessness issues. This will raise awareness to the community of issues that homeless people face and give an opportunity to the young people to engage themselves in the local community.

East Herts People First is run by, and for, people with learning difficulties. The management committee will attend a trustee training and money management course. They will then use the skills learned to train their members and other people in self-advocacy community groups.

This is a project by a community group based in Merton. The group will use the funding to run dance workshops for people living with Parkinson's Disease in order to promote health and wellbeing for those people taking part. The project will encourage people living with Parkinson's to take part in dance activities as part of a regular exercise regime.
