Shard End Settlement - Champions 4 Skills (C4S) 04 Nov 2015
A project to increase active community involvement and tackle local issues. The scheme will set up community forums, action plans and neighbourhood steering groups and will also recruit community volunteers, provide skills work-shops, inc IT, communication and presentation and will focus on young people, long-term unemployed and older residents, to increase opportunities to actively engage in the community to raise aspirations and build confidence.
This project will provide specialist training for volunteers working with people who have suffered bereavement. This will increase the skills, confidence and capacity of the group and its volunteers.
