This group will use the funding to hold a historic storytelling open day for all members of this rural community. This will celebrate 150 years of Ladock School where children will create and showcase new and old stories of the school, area and its history. Community identity and culture will be celebrated, allowing children to develop their historical knowledge and understanding of the village.

St Piran in Penwith Reawakened 05 Dec 2016
This project will host an annual event that celebrates St Piran, patron saint of tin minors. Local schoolchildren will take part in an evening â€˜Cornish Concertâ€™, which will be followed by a morning parade through Penzance, with children playing and dancing in a â€˜St Piran Furry Danceâ€™. Local bands will join the procession, and Cornish themed acts will provide additional support.
The Natural Cycle 30 Nov 2016
This project will build a cycle track around the school's field for extra-curricular activities. This will encourage physical activity for a community affected by rising obesity rates and inactivity.
The group will use the funding to install a new safe pathway to its community centre as the current surface is unsafe. This will improve access for visitors and community groups that use the building.
