The project aims to make sure the right information and resources are available to the whole community.
Norda House Project 23 Aug 2017
This is a continuation of an existing service run by Cornwall Refuge Trust. The project provides safe refuge for men of all ages from across England who are suffering from domestic abuse and violence. The Norda House project combines an outreach advice and support service, and a residential refuge for these men. The funding will allow the project to support between 250 and 300 men over three years.
Penzance Youth Markets (PYM) Pilot Yr 2 04 Oct 2017
The project will run three youth markets, in addition to learning and support sessions to support young people to build relationships and showcase their talents.
New chairs for Fraddon Village Hall 08 Nov 2017
The group will purchase new chairs for their village hall, replacing their worn out furniture so the venue can continue to be used for community activities and events.
A community use building will be renovated with this funding, which is located in an area experiencing the effects of rural isolation. This will improve the environment of the building and make it suitable for voluntary organisations and visitors.

Inspiring Lives 13 Apr 2017
The group will help young people with behavioural and mental health issues become more resilient. They will be supported to re-engage with education and reconnect with their families, peers and communities. The project will be led by ex-military instructors and volunteers who have themselves overcome trauma. They will act as positive role models and run workshops, outdoor activities and a volunteering project.
