The organisation will use the funding to refurbish their one stop affordable shop and community hub for those affected by poverty. This will provide voluntary opportunities, support and interventions and access to services to help improve their opportunities and wellbeing.

The organisation will use the funding to run a weekly social group for disadvantaged older people in the community, and engage younger people to help support the activities. This will provide social activities, and internet and welfare rights sessions to help reduce older peopleâ€™s isolation and improve intergenerational relations.
KEEPING THE ENERGY FLOWING AT COASTWATCH 25 Nov 2015
The organisation will use the funding to install solar panels and window shutters for their coast-watch tower, and radio equipment for an extra team of volunteer â€˜watchkeepersâ€™ to patrol the shoreline and surrounding area. This will improve the standards of safety for everyone visiting the area.
Bringing Alnwick In 17 May 2016
The school will use the funding to carry out a feasibility study to develop a new community learning space in Alnwick. This will help to provide holistic support, childcare facilities and out of school activities for pupils and families, and training and volunteering opportunities within the community.
The school will use the funding to mentor young people with learning difficulties through completion of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. This will help raise levels of confidence and self-esteem, address issues of social isolation and improve life skills leading to a qualification.
The organisation will use the funding to upgrade their IT equipment. This will enable the organisation to provide an equality of service to both male and female clients at both of its sites.

The school will use the funding to run forest gardening afterschool clubs, holiday workshops and events for disadvantaged young people in the community. This will engage young people, their families and the wider community in environmental, gardening and learning activities and will offer young people the opportunity to develop a community garden area and achieve accredited awards.
