This is an expansion of an existing project for older lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (OLGBT) people to cover the whole of London. The project aims to initiate new care and support services for OLGBT people including home care and advocacy support.
Careers Escalator 09 Feb 2017
This project aims to improve the employment, career advancement and increased pay prospects of unemployed, under-employed and/or low paid migrants with no or limited English language skills. They will support those living in poverty, resulting in reduced isolation and poor physical and mental well-being. Through their existing employer networks it will provide access to workplace experiences, internship or apprenticeship opportunities to increase employability skills with a variety of employers.
Oasis Inclusion Project 29 Jul 2015
This development of a project aims to provide a service for children and young people with learning disabilities aged 6-25 which will address the local lack of community activities, learning opportunities and inclusive and separate play opportunities for beneficiaries. The project will embed a full time service into their delivery by providing play opportunities for beneficiaries, their young carers and family members during term time and school holidays.
The group will use the funding to train volunteers and provide health literacy sessions for older people from minority communities. This will give beneficiaries the means and confidence to access healthcare services, improving their health and wellbeing.
Strengthening Families Project 24 Jun 2015
The group will use the funding to deliver a strengthening families programme to give parents support in meeting aims through workshops, training and development of parenting skills. This will improve family skills and broaden young peopleâ€™s experience and raise expectations.
This project will deliver a commemorative arts project, which will bring the local community together, enabling them to celebrate the diversity of their area through a variety of arts activities.
EssentialSkillz Project 11 Aug 2016
The group will use the funding to purchase a new IT system that will give staff, trustees and volunteers access to online training and support. This will increase the capacity of the organisation enabling them to meet the needs of its increased number of employees and volunteers.

The group will use the funding to receive specialist support in ensuring the sustainability of their community centre. This will promote development of the facility, enabling beneficiaries to have continued access to the various clubs, drop in centres and other activities it currently provides.
Resilience Project 27 Jul 2016
This project will deliver activities for older and disabled people from the West Balkan community, aiming to reduce isolation, improve quality of life and bring people together. It will be led by those benefitting from the project alongside 20 volunteers, and include lunch clubs, exercise groups, cookery courses, arts courses and two cultural events each year to celebrate heritage and traditional customs. There will also be one-to-one support to increase access to services and workshops on money management.

The group will use the funding to run story telling workshops aimed at vulnerable young people. This will improve beneficiariesâ€™ confidence, communication and social skills, reducing social isolation.

This project will continue to develop and train people from disadvantaged backgrounds to become advice and information volunteers. By developing their skills and experience the project aims to support them into full-time employment. This service will include support around benefits, grants, debt, housing and help for clients displaying multiple needs.

The group will use the funding to educate children in the local area about healthy eating and nutrition. This will lead to healthier diets and lifestyles.
The BIG 10 - Phoenix Farm in the White City 05 Dec 2016
This project will host two events at a local farm in an area where there is limited green space. The events will be held in the spring and autumn and will provide an opportunity for the diverse community to come together to share in food, competitions and activities. It is anticipated that 350 school children will attend each event along with families and members of the wider community.
The group will use the funding to deliver a programme of intergenerational art activities that will promote cohesion and social wellbeing for members of the black minority ethnic and refugee (BMER) community. This will encourage people to communicate with each other and challenge the issues that they face.
LON 1.5 - ACE (Able, Capable, Employed) 12 May 2016
This project will support people aged 24 plus in South and Central London with long-term health problems or disabilities into sustained and meaningful employment in the open labour market. It will offer placements in various employment sectors to give people the skills and experience to find work.
This project aims to provide employment focused activities that will result in sustainable job opportunities for refugees who have settled in Central London. This will be achieved through a package of personalised interventions, which will improve the economic prospects of unemployed refugees.
