Domino Effect Project 25 Sep 2015
The funding will be used to develop services supporting people who have experienced addiction issues, homelessness or have been to prison. The project aims to support people to sustain a tenancy, reintegrate into the community and gain work. Training is provided by peers supported by local universities and businesses and takes place in progressive stages. Each stage helps participants build their skills and confidence until they can put these into action at a work placement or a specific project.
The project aims to help people of all ages with learning difficulties, disabilities or mental health problems to lead more independent lives through a range of engaging activities and volunteering opportunities on the farm. Accredited training in animal care and horticulture, therapeutic outdoor experiences, peer to peer mentoring and practical training placements will be on offer. A social enterprise will also be piloted so volunteers can put new skills gained into practice.

The group will use the funding to create an all weather shelter for the local community which will be used as a venue for training workshops. This will provide a community facility that will enable participation in community life.

The group will use the funding to purchase play equipment for the school playground for children who are unhealthy due to a lack of physical activity. This will encourage the children to engage in active play which will lead to healthier lifestyles.
WildFest 01 Jul 2015
The group will use the funding to deliver a weeklong nature and community themed festival for the benefit of the local community. This will educate beneficiaries in living more environmentally friendly and help build community spirit through a range of activities.
Community Festivals 27 May 2015
The group will use the funding to recruit and train volunteers to enable them to support the delivery of a series of health and well being community festivals in their local area. This will support the training needs of volunteers and promote community cohesion.
Investigative Learning Tower Project 19 Aug 2015
The group will use the funding to install outdoor climbing towers which can be used by children from the local community. This will promote wellbeing and physical activity.
Baggator Cafe Renovation 30 Sep 2015
The funding will be used to redevelop a youth group cafe. This will include the installation of a boiler for heating and hot water and upgrading fire doors and exits. This will improve facilities which will enable young people to meet up and socialise.
Lincoln Street 14 Oct 2015
The group will use the funding to provide furniture and equipment for their new community centre. This will enable the organisation to increase its capacity to support users experiencing a range of issues.
Operation Upgrade 20 May 2015
The group will use the funding to purchase new up to date ICT equipment for the benefit of the air cadet members. This will improve the facilities and training the group has to offer, enabling the beneficiaries to learn new skills.
The group will use the funding to deliver workshops based on the Bristol Green Capital Programme event to young disadvantaged BME women and families to enable them to participate in cultural activities in the city. This will widen the cultural activities on offer and celebrate the creativity of young women and families.
Bowling For Health 17 Sep 2015
The group will use the funding to deliver extracurricular physical fitness activities for young people who experiencing the effects of poor health and social disadvantage. This will encourage those taking part to adopt healthier lifestyle choices.
Grant to Mothers for Mothers 06 Aug 2015
This project will deliver two postnatal depression support groups for young mothers and play activities for pre-school children. This will improve social skills develop relationships and improve emotional well-being.
