They school will provide an after school rugby club. Splice Child and Family Project Limited will provide opportunities for physical outdoor activities for the families that use the group's centre which will positively contributes to their health. The project meets the awards for all sim of 'extending access and participation'. This grant for £819 will fund outside store, shelters, outdoor protective clothing, "talking tubes" toy and other equipment.
This club provides football coaching for boys and girls aged 7-19. The project is based in Forfar, Angus and focuses on football. This grant will fund 80 bibs, 6 corner poles, 1 set of small nets, 1 set of large nets, 4 sets of space markers, 40 cones, 8 sets of boundary poles, 60 training footballs, 10 match footballs, 20 indoor footballs and 7 training ladders.
A New Standard and its Dedication 26 Aug 2009
The association will purchase a Standard which will enable them to rally support for Merchant Navy Day, Remembrance Day and to hold a dedication service. The grant will fund a standard, gauntlet, carrier bucket, bag, pole and a light buffet following the dedication service.
The project is based in Shawfield focuses on football for children uder the age of 16. This grant will be used to pay for training footballs, match footballs, training bibs, markers, passing arcs, boundary poles, a speed ladder, a medical bag, waterproof jackets, league entry fees and tournament fees.
Walking for Health 18 May 2011
This project is by a registered charity in Deane. The group will use the funding to purchase Nordic Walking poles and take part in a Nordic Walking Course. This will increase participation in regular exercise in the area.
The schools project is based in Crawford, South Lanarkshire and focuses on various sports. This grant will fund coaches, transport, nylon bibs, golf target, flags, poles, bases, Velcro balls, tri-gold set, chipping trainer set, footballs and football goals.
Boltons Conservation Area 07 May 2007
This school will create a wildlife area within its grounds, to benefit students and the wider community. A pond and log, leaf and stone piles will be created to improve wildlife habitats. Nesting boxes, insect houses and a hedgehog house will also be installed.
