Myaware South Wales Support Group will use the grant to provide further support to people living with myasthenia and their carers. They will also produce awareness packs to aid diagnosis for GP surgeries and clinics. This group will use the funding to install a braille map and interpretation board at their sensory garden, which has just been created on an unused grass area in the town centre, for people with sight impairments and dementia. The map and board will provide a new information facility to ensure people are able to fully appreciate and participate in the new garden.

Funding will be used to stage the organisationâ€™s annual pantomime and this year it will be Cinderella, which will be re-written to ensure it is relevant and topical. This will enable the organisation to involve community members of all ages in all aspects of the production including creation, rehearsals, publicity and performance and also promote community cohesion.
