Young Peoples Social Interaction Activity 05 Apr 2017
Equipment will be funded for young people aged 16 to 25 living in the organisation’s hostel. This will engage young people in activities to build positive relationships and relieve social isolation.
The group, based in Randalstown, supports tenants from Neillsbrook Fold. They received £4,250 to provide disabled residents with an accessible garden and a pathway at the back of the building. Residents will be involved in creating this by visiting a local garden centre and choosing the flowers and plants.
Hollingworth Festival on the Green 06 Sep 2017
The funding will be used to hold a celebration day to bring people together from different communities to reduce isolation and encourage positive community spirit.
This group will use the funding to celebrate the club’s 30th anniversary year through a special group trip to Lake Windermere and a camera to capture the trip. This funding will also enrich the group’s regular activities through the provision of a new sound system and projector screen which will be used to run activities such as film nights and gentle exercise classes.

Exploring the amazing world of Science 24 Jul 2017
Project Summary : Noah’s Ark Fun Club in Narberth will use the grant to deliver a series of science days over the school holidays followed by an after school club during the Autumn term. What Money is for : The grant for £4,890 will fund a trip to Techniquest, science equipment, two iPads, black out tent, torches and uv light, resources, exploration tray, minibeast house and bug city, a microwave, and sessional worker costs.
Scout Group - Hartley 15 Training Dinghy 03 Apr 2017
The funding will be used by a charity to purchase a large dingy and trailer to provide sailing training for the scout group and give the community access to water based activities. The new dingy will allow activities to take place at a local reservoir and further afield in the Lake District.
Re-brand and relaunch of the Hawthorn Cafe 28 Feb 2018
This funding will provide a community café with new equipment, improving the venue and encouraging increased use by older people from the wider community.
Arts Factory Ltd in Rhondda Cynon Taf will use the grant to promote healthy eating and wellbeing to older people suffering from health problems, malnutrition, and obesity. This grant for £4,000 will fund sessional worker, administration costs, refreshments, activities, and marketing.
This project will run workshops for young people experiencing mental health challenges and develop a play about their experiences, which will be performed to staff in secondary schools, family and mental health professionals. Reducing Isolation and Craft Research Trip 01 Nov 2017
The group provide social, educational and recreational activities for older people in the Motherwell area. The project will fund arts and crafts, digital photography, line dancing activities, and a three night trip to York for the group’s members.
