The school will use the funding to redevelop the pond area and other wildlife based features, as well as run clubs for pupils and families. This will provide activities improve the confidence and aid the development of children from disadvantaged backgrounds, and help re-engage parents with the school and their childrenâ€™s learning.

The organisation will use the funding to continue delivering workshops in arts, drama and dance for young people in the local area. This will reduce anti-social behaviour, drug and alcohol misuse, bullying and racism through the provision of diversionary activities.
This group will use the funding for a pilot project which will offer early intervention support to vulnerable young women living in the North East End of Glasgow from 6 weeks pre-birth to 11 weeks post birth.
The organisation will use the funding to run a series of activities and workshops focussing on raising awareness of specific learning difficulties and highlighting opportunities for young people who have learning difficulties. This will enable the organisation to improve the employment prospects of their targeted beneficiaries and thus reduce their sense of social isolation..

The school will install gym equipment and provide training sessions for children. This will encourage children to take part in exercise, leading to improved physical health and wellbeing.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver a series of accredited leadership training courses to disadvantaged children and young people culminating in a number of community events organised by the trainees. This will improve the life chances of participants by increasing their life skills base, provide them with qualifications and relevant experience, and increase their confidence and self-esteem.

This project will support 850 unemployed and economically inactive adults across West Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, helping them to gain sustainable work or to become more work ready. Participants will include those with barriers to employment such as poor health, disability, debt, rural isolation, drug and alcohol addiction and ex-offenders. The project will also work with local employers to improve their awareness of barriers to employment in order to overcome prejudice and create opportunities.

Touch Trust Caerphilly 13 Sep 2016
Project Summary : Touch Trust Limited in Cardiff will use the grant to deliver regular activities for children and adults with sensory impairment in Caerphilly. This grant for Â£4,752 will fund sessional worker costs, volunteer expenses, and travel costs.
The group will use the funding to install vehicle activated signs to be rotated at four locations in this rural village for drivers. This will alert driversâ€™ awareness of their speed for slower and careful driving, increasing safety on the road and reducing road accidents.

Far and Wild is a community interest company based in Derry/Londonderry specialising in outdoor education to develop people and sustain the environment. They are using the Â£10,000 grant to provide equipment and storage of an adaptive cycle to assist in the community initiative 'Bike-ability NI'.
