Muni Arts Centre in Caerphilly will use the grant to use the arts to support veterans to gain confidence, enabling them to access opportunities for volunteering and employment. This grant for Â£4,914 will fund veteran support sessional workers, writing and art workshops, publication costs, training sessions, and event costs.
This organisation currently runs a local heritage museum and arts centre which organises a range of events for the community. This project will deliver a Saturday Art Club for children and young people.
Based on the campus of Stirling University, Macrobert Arts Centre delivers a wide range of arts and cultural activities. It will deliver a project investigating the role art and creative experiences can play in helping adults with autism to live healthier, more connected and better supported lives. The project will design and test how creative activities can more fully meet the needs of adults on the autistic spectrum by working alongside participants to co-design more accessible and appropriate services.

The group will use the funding to run a skills training programme for people. This will enable participants to develop their ability to work within the community and improve their chances of finding employment.

Dementia-friendly arts provision 24 Feb 2016
Macrobert offers twice-monthly opportunities for people living with dementia and their loved ones to come together and share enriching, engaging and stimulating time together. They use dance, music, storytelling and film to provide joy, offer respite, nurture peer support networks and enable people to participate more fully in their community.
This project will celebrate the world famous Banbury Cake and bakery that created it, focussing on the lives of its creators and their legacy. A theatre company will hold a series of intergenerational workshops to create a piece of interactive theatre performed by local community dance and theatre companies in August 2017. It will also include exhibitions, a pop up cafÃ©, Banbury Bake off, stalls and arts and crafts activities for children to bring the community together.
This project will use the funding to deliver a six month pilot film club for older people in their theatre in partnership with a local befriending charity 'The Good Neighbourhood Project. This will provide access to a film club and befriending service to provide social and recreational activities for older people and their carers who are isolated within the community.

This will strengthen the capability of board and volunteers enabling greater engagement with members of the local community to ensure it better meets local needs as a community venue.
