Domino Effect Project 25 Sep 2015
The funding will be used to develop services supporting people who have experienced addiction issues, homelessness or have been to prison. The project aims to support people to sustain a tenancy, reintegrate into the community and gain work. Training is provided by peers supported by local universities and businesses and takes place in progressive stages. Each stage helps participants build their skills and confidence until they can put these into action at a work placement or a specific project.
Keynsham Festival of Nature 2017 15 Sep 2016
The organisation will use the funding for a community celebration of the natural world. The event will offer a variety of open-air interactive activities, talks and workshops including digital conversations, maximising intergenerational communication.
The project aims to help people of all ages with learning difficulties, disabilities or mental health problems to lead more independent lives through a range of engaging activities and volunteering opportunities on the farm. Accredited training in animal care and horticulture, therapeutic outdoor experiences, peer to peer mentoring and practical training placements will be on offer. A social enterprise will also be piloted so volunteers can put new skills gained into practice.

The group will use the funding to create an all weather shelter for the local community which will be used as a venue for training workshops. This will provide a community facility that will enable participation in community life.

This project will use the funding to bring the whole community together to celebrate its 30th anniversary. A programme of free community workshops will be delivered culminating in a celebration event to include entertainment, intergenerational story telling and a horticultural show.

Positive Voices 01 Jun 2016
This project will support people who are newly diagnosed with HIV or struggling with their diagnosis in Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset. People will receive an assessment to help recognise their strengths and achieve their goals. There will be regular one-to-one support from others with direct experiences of HIV, and signposting to other services. There will also be workshops about understanding HIV, treatment options, telling others about the diagnosis, sex and relationships.

The group will use the funding to install outdoor climbing towers which can be used by children from the local community. This will promote wellbeing and physical activity.

The funding will be used to redevelop a youth group cafe. This will include the installation of a boiler for heating and hot water and upgrading fire doors and exits. This will improve facilities which will enable young people to meet up and socialise.

The group will use the funding to produce promotional material for their community festival. This will increase the groupâ€™s capacity to advertise the festival, enabling more beneficiaries to attend and benefit from the festival activities.
Even More Wildly Different 21 Sep 2016
The project supports children and young people in care or living in difficult circumstances due to low income, disadvantage and discrimination. Beneficiaries will take part in a range of activities designed to increase confidence, self-esteem and life skills which will improve their life chances. These include outdoor days away and residential trips, one to one support and community activities. The project will also work with and support their families.
This school will use the funding to install play equipment on their grounds. Children will be able to take part in activities which benefit their development, health and wellbeing.
Future 4 Me 04 Dec 2016
The funding will support a project called Future 4 Me that aims to support and engage young people leaving care and custody. Working alongside regional and national partners, the project will specifically target those who are most disengaged and mistrusting of services including people who are at risk of homelessness, social exclusion and exploitation.
