The group will use the funding to produce promotional material for their community festival. This will increase the groupâ€™s capacity to advertise the festival, enabling more beneficiaries to attend and benefit from the festival activities.
An environmental and conservation programme will be carried out on Troopers Hill Nature Reserve, working with the local community on projects and events.

A project to commemorate the events leading up to the end of WW2 with the provision of 2 reunion events for the benefit of memebers of this group and the wider community of Bristol.
Starting in October, a series of 20 drama workshops will be arranged for young people in the area to work with professionals.

The grant will enable the group to expand its current service by employing a musician for an extra day each week to work on music sessions, helping to rehabilitate ex-offenders.

This health and fitness project is for the benefit of older people living in Bedminster and Windmill Hill areas in Bristol, after consultation was carried out to determine what activities people would find most life enhancing. Exercise classes will beheld for older people who will be transported free of charge to these classes.

The Grove Early Years project will run an additional session each week, allowing more parents to access free training and education and enable the project worker to do more one to one work.

A project to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of WW2 with a VE and VJ remembrance and celebratory event for the benefit of members of this community based in Bristol.
Heroes Return 02 May 2005
A Second World War Veteran from Bristol has been awarded a grant towards travel costs for a commemorative visit to Russia + Norway in June of this year. Funding has also been provided for a spouse and a carer to travel with the Veteran.
Pottery Sculpture 21 Jul 2005
