Chester Boxers is a community boxing club. The project is enabling the local community to train safely in Martial Arts and gain health and well-being benefits from participating. The grant will refurbish an area of the gym with specialist flooring to minimise risk of injury.

Culcheth Sports Club is a widely used community sports facility. The project is part of a wider refurbishment project to bring the building up to modern standards and continue to provide a range of services for the local community. The grant will install a new disabled toilet facility.
Move to Public Hall 11 Mar 2016
Audlem Youth Club aims to provide quality youth provision which is fun and educational, in a safe friendly environment. Their project provides young people, within the village and surrounding areas, opportunities to develop new skills that will benefit the community as a whole.The grant enabled the Club to meet the costs to make an interim move to the Audlem Public Hall enabling it to grow and develop in readiness for the dedicated rooms being available in a new building in 2017.
LED Lighting 11 Mar 2016
3rd Warrington East Scout Group develops new life skills with young girls and boys between 6-18 years old. The project was to improve the facilities for the scouts as well as for other community groups. The grant support enabled the cost of LED lighting in various areas of the scout hut.
Longbarn Park 28 Jul 2016
Friends of Longbarn Park was set up to maintain and enhance the appearance of the Park for the benefit of the local community.The project will provide volunteering opportunities for older people within the context of an intergenerational project to maintain Lonbarn Park. The grant will purchase a range of tools for volunteer working parties at the park ie, spades, shovels, bow saws, loppers, pruners, rakes, litter pickers, forks, bag loop holders, provide safety wear ie, forestry helmets, ear defenders, safety goggles, and rigger gloves plus fuel costs and public liability insurance.

Friends of St Barnabas is a faith community group based in the ward of St Barnabas Crewe. The aims of the group is to increase community involvement, and empower people to reach their potential, which sees the community garden within the church grounds and church hall being used on a daily basis.The project supports older people with dementia through the organisation overseeing and commissioning Age Uk Cheshire to deliver weekly structured activities over a 48 week timeframe over a 12 month period broken down into 6 week blocks. The grant pays for sessional costs and publicity costs.
Just Drop In is established for the Benefit the young people of Macclesfield and surrounding areas providing a welcoming and comfortable centre hosted by volunteers from the community, providing assistance and information relating to their needs, expert advice and access to information related to education, employment, training, housing, health, benefits and leisure matters. The project will provide a qualified and experienced young person’s Counsellor to Tytherington High School for 10 hours a week to support young people attending the school. The grant will pay for the salary costs of the Coordinator, plus a small amount of resources.
Musical Theatre days 27 Jul 2016
Clonter Farm Music Trust is a small rural charity, offering unique training and performance opportunities for singers at the start of their professional careers and to bring opera, operetta and musical theatre to children who might otherwise never experience this art form. The project is a contribution towards the Musical Theatre Days for over 700 school children from 18 Schools in Cheshire with 11 having a specific focus on areas of low engagement with the arts or have a high proportion of children on free school meals. The Cheshire Community Foundation grant will focus on the areas of low engagement and free school meals, making a contribution to artists, staffing and management costs.
