The Grounds of Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre 07 May 2007
This arts centre will create a green space within the retail centre of Cwmbran for the general public. Trees will be replaced and the pond area redeveloped. Educational activities fort families, young people and those suffering mental health problems will be run in the space when it is complete.
This is a project by a registered charity in Reading. The group will use funding to install a fire alarm and refurbish the Rising Sun Arts Centre. This will ensure the centre meets with fire safety standards and enable the building to continue being used as a meeting venue by local community groups.
Lift installation 12 Nov 2004
With a Lottery award the group will install a lift, which will help older and disabled members to access the first floor meeting rooms and participate fully in the activities of the arts centre. There are several members at present who are unable to use the stairs and the Arts Centre are keen to ensure access is available to everyone.
Belfry Arts Centre Improvement Project 10 Mar 2011
This community organisation in Overstrand, Norfolk, will use funding to install a heating system and upgrade the bathroom facilities in their arts centre. This will allow the group to open the facility to use by the wider community.
Workshops for an urban arts festival 16 Dec 2005
With help from a Lottery grant the Windsor Community Arts Centre will run an Urban Arts Festival called Freestyle. Young people across Slough and Berkshire will be able to take part in a weekend of workshops in DJ, MC, Manga art, street art and street dance skills.
Colchester Arts Centre will hold a three-week mixed arts festival aimed at children in hard-to-reach areas. Activities will include puppet making and movement workshops, culminating in a performance at the end of the festival.
This group run a community and arts centre, providing cultural, educational and recreational opportunities for local people. The grant will fund staff costs for drop in sessions and a summer sports and activity club, advertising, costs of a curator, volunteer expenses, framing and materials for art exhibition.

This group create and operate arts and community centres and encourage young people to become professional in the arts. The funding will be used to build a foyer cafe area to serve the people using the arts centre, storytelling area and the quiet walled garden.
Over 60's Art Workshops 22 Sep 2006
The project by this arts centre in Camden, is to run artist-led workshops for over 60's from local community centres to give them experience and increase creativity, using professional equipment and facilities. The workshops will also enable the over 60's to meet with other people and socialise.
Playground Generation 10 Jan 2007
A traversing climbing wall, outdoor shelter and stage will be built at a sports and art centre in Heaton, Newcastle. The area will also be decorated to enhance the play experience for children at an attached school and for local community groups.
Performing Arts Centre Project 20 May 2004
A project to develop a performing arts centre at this church in Bradley, Wolverhampton, for the benefit of the local community. The grant will pay for the room rental, utility costs, telephone, internet connection, office equipment & furniture, stationary, travel costs and publicity associated with the appointment of a part-time development worker to establish the arts centre.
