Bedminster Diversity Day 11 Nov 2016
This project will deliver a community meal and street entertainment for 500 residents from the local community and a range of black minority ethnic (BME) groups. This will bring the community together and celebrate different cultures in response to the increased xenophobia in the area.
An all-weather play space and outdoor climbing equipment will be installed with this funding. The new area will provide children with an outdoor structure which will enhance their physical activity.

This project will create an event for community groups, associations and societies to showcase their activities. It will help inform people of local opportunities and bring the community together, including intergenerational activities for families and groups.
This project will encourage disadvantaged families and their young children to attend sessions and gain support from the local family centre. This will help to reduce isolation increase social and play skills and provide some fun.

CSV Environment (Bristol) will promote and develop the community gardens and establish a volunteer community management group to sustain it for the benefit of all local residents.
Victoria park Tennis Club 20 Sep 2006
This newly formed tennis club will improve access to the courts. Coaching will take place to encourage people in the community to learn tennis. Equipment will also be purchased.
This community group provide a forum for practising local artists/craftspeople and organise a weekend's trail of arts. The grant will purchase portable ramps to make their trail more wheelchair accessible.
Fleet Expansion Project 13 Oct 2006
The club has grown significantly and needs to increase resources to meet this demand. The award will part-fund an additional coxed four together with a safety boat engine.
This group are set up to benefit older residents in Bristol. The award will enable them to carry out a detailed survey about people's experiences of family doctor services. The aim is to improve health services for older people in the area.

The group aims to improve the quality of life for people over 50 years of age in Bristol. The award will be used to extend the opportunities available to local people through provision of new healthy eating, relaxation and creative writing classes. In addition, training for volunteers and committee members will be included as will community promotional events.

The group support mental health users through music. This project will further develop their activities to enable mental health users to have specialist music tuition which will develop their skills and confidence.

The project is to allow the group to perform photography related courses with various groups in Bristol. This project will involve the group working with community service volunteers and working with parents and children through Brentry Day Care Centre. The group will also run a photographic competition and exhibition. The grant will be used to pay for the various projects and for additional photography equipment.
Georgian Bath Celebrations 28 Mar 2007
This District Scout Council will use an award to attend a St George's Day event in Bath to celebrate 100 years of Scouting. The event is an opportunity for the young people to explore the heritage and celebrate the achievements of the scouts, as well as promote scouting values. The award is for coach hire.
