Wellbeing Through Nature 16 Jun 2016
This project will support people with mental health issues and learning disabilities across Bristol, Bath and North and North East Somerset through exploring and taking care of nature. It will provide a structured programme of outdoor activities, such as community allotment work, park clean ups, tree planting, nature walks, food growing and outdoor cooking. This will give people access to natural environments, and help them gain skills, build confidence, improve well-being and lead healthier lives.

A project to support young people aged 16-24 in hardship crisis, the project will include access to a range of specialist and general advice, legal advice, training and support. The scheme will also train peer mentors, including youth advice navigators to help beneficiaries access vital support to reduce poverty, improve health and wellbeing, increase financial capability and improve resilience and self empowerment.
A Celebration of the Chinese New Year 05 Dec 2016
This project will celebrate Chinese New Year, bringing communities together through educational, cultural and social activities. The programme of events will include performances from martial artists and folk dancers, as well as opportunities for people to try traditional Chinese folk dancing and arts and crafts, such as origami, calligraphy and watercolour painting.

This is a project by a charity in Bristol, that will benefit people across England. The group will use the funding to deliver training for its volunteers that will enable the organisation to improve how it supports its service users who are experiencing long term medical problems. This will build capacity for this organisationâ€™s outreach work.

Even More Wildly Different 21 Sep 2016
The project supports children and young people in care or living in difficult circumstances due to low income, disadvantage and discrimination. Beneficiaries will take part in a range of activities designed to increase confidence, self-esteem and life skills which will improve their life chances. These include outdoor days away and residential trips, one to one support and community activities. The project will also work with and support their families.
The group will use the funding to improve the lives of young transgender people in the Bristol area by providing advice on coping with social anxiety, depression, low mood and suicidal thoughts. This will help beneficiaries with feelings of isolation, vulnerability, inequality and discrimination whilst improving self-image in respect of being transgender.
The group will use the funding to conduct a feasibility and options study in the community. This will enable the group to redevelop their services in line with the needs of the community.
