A project to support children, young people aged 10-17, and parents with experience of domestic violence. The project will include one to one intensive counselling and group sessions covering a variety of topics such as communication skills, coping skills, exploring controlling behaviours and personal support networks. The project aims to reach 240 beneficiaries.
'CARE' - Child At Risk of Exploitation 01 Jul 2015
This new project aims to reduce the risk and impact of child sexual exploitation by developing better responses and support across Essex, Southend and Thurrock. It will provide specialist support to help young people manage risks as well as the emotional, psychological and environmental influence of abuse.
Styal Mother and Baby Unit 04 Nov 2015
The organisation will use funding to develop the outdoor area of their mother and baby unit at Styal Prison in Cheshire, to include a canopy, sensory rich equipment and truck tyres. This will provide children with a stimulating place to play and bond with their mothers, with the aim of reducing the risk of health inequalities in later life.

This is a project by a community organisation in Merton, serving beneficiaries in Kingston upon Thames. The group will use the funding to deliver a series of art support sessions that will focus upon young people who are not in education, employment or training. This will improve levels of self-esteem and enhance the confidence of people who have a range of complex needs.

£104,000 over two years (£51,000; £53,000) for a Membership Officer and a Research & Learning Officer, plus running costs, to enable the 4 in 10 network to develop its work tackling child poverty in London.
The project will investigate the changing roles of fathers in their families as well as the changing role of men in their social networks, communities and the workforce as a means to understanding how being a young father can be supported by organisations such as Children 1st and other organisations supporting families.
SoundGarden at Eureka! 16 Nov 2004
The Garden of Science will be an early years gallery to introduce under fives to living things and the natural world, explored through a giant sized but realistic garden setting. Individual exhibits will include; an oversize terracotta Flower Pot in which children can play; a Tree Trunk Theatre for role play opportunities and a giant Magpie's nest.
A project to provide Walsall based school children and their parents with the opportunity to take part in a design and technology active learning project. The grant will pay for equipment, teachers and peer tutors.
