Pond Park Community Association, located in Chesham, will open up access to an overgrown public pathway in Ashridge Vale. The group will remove debris and litter, prune overgrown trees, plant native shrubs, install bird and bat boxes.

This school will use funding to set up a multi sensory breathing place. To achieve this, they will plant a variety of climbing plants and fruit trees, build a pergola-style overhead wildlife motorway linked to the local park, and create a fenced boardwalk structure to provide access from the main building. There are also plans to refurbish a wild area to include linking ponds fed by a sloping stream.

The project will renovate the former graveyard of Cheltenham chapel, which is now known as Jenner Gardens. The group will work on landscaping and planting to improve the aesthetics and safety of the site, transforming this area into a community garden, which will be open to the public.

The group will use the funding to create an accessible community garden, to include a workshop, raised beds and composting toilet. This will enable them to deliver gardening sessions for the whole community, including people with mental health issues and those on probation, with the aim of reducing obesity and promoting wellbeing.

The Hidden Gardens Trust in Glasgow aim to hold a Wildlife Day where members of the public will be invited to partake in various activities such as planting sessions, workshops on making bird boxes, plant identification, a nature trail and a mini beast hunt for children. Along with the Wildlife Day, the group plan to upgrade paths to the wildlife area, to ensure better public access.

This community group will use an award to extend their current facilities to include a garden, allotments, and the space to offer further training opportunities. The work will be carried out mainly by volunteers, particularly young people who are in danger of anti-social behaviour. The project aims to provide greater usage of the area by the community.

Afon Taf Gardening Club in Carmarthenshire will use the grant to take their members on a two-day trip to visit the National Trust historical buildings and gardens at Stokesay Castle, Erddig and Chirk Castle to reduce social isolation. This grant for £4,900 will fund transport, accommodation and entrance fees for up to 35 people.

Based on the results and recommendations, it will look to increase and improve habitats, undertake planting, install information boards and publicise the area through leaflets.

Sackville Gardens in Manchester will establish a 'Friends of Sackville Gardens' group to help recruit volunteers and generate interest. Aspects of the project include the planting of a wildlife hedge, trees and wildflowers, rejuvenating flower beds, putting up hanging baskets and installing more bird boxes and feeding stations.

The garden will contain plants which will reflect each of the continents and this will be a reminder of the pupils who attend and who have left the school. The Lesbian and Gay Foundation is to hold a Picnic in the Park at Sackville Gardens in Manchester, The site is popular with a number of different groups such as the LGB community, the Chinese community and the student community. A variety of workshops, such as bird boxes, window boxes and plant pot painting, will be held as will creating a chill out space, demonstrations in Thai Chi, children's fun area, meditation area, creative space for musicians, poets, etc, a wish tree and junk monsters events
