Domino Effect Project 25 Sep 2015

The funding will be used to develop services supporting people who have experienced addiction issues, homelessness or have been to prison. The project aims to support people to sustain a tenancy, reintegrate into the community and gain work. Training is provided by peers supported by local universities and businesses and takes place in progressive stages. Each stage helps participants build their skills and confidence until they can put these into action at a work placement or a specific project.

There will be regular one-to-one support from others with direct experiences of HIV, and signposting to other services. There will also be workshops about understanding HIV, treatment options, telling others about the diagnosis, sex and relationships.
