The project will enable this registered charity to get local people involved in gardening and horticulture at the group's farm. A community garden will be created for all to appreciate and enjoy. There will also be an opportunity for those interested to gain a qualification in horticulture.

This project will continue and develop the community education services delivered to people from the Lawrence Weston area of Bristol. The aim of the project is to involve local people in a range of activities that enable them to improve life skills, opportunities and wellbeing whilst making positive contributions to improving the local environment, helping to create a healthier community.

This project will use the funding to bring the whole community together to celebrate its 30th anniversary. A programme of free community workshops will be delivered culminating in a celebration event to include entertainment, intergenerational story telling and a horticultural show.

This charity in Bristol will use funding to provide supported volunteering sessions, to disadvantaged and isolated local people, to enable them to create a new community wildlife garden. This will provide opportunities to socialise, learn about wildlife and create a new community wildlife garden facility for the local community to access.

The farm's educational and volunteering programme will expand to include after-school and holiday schemes and to cater for youngsters and people with learning disabilities. Volunteering opportunities will be developed to encourage more active participation in all aspects of the farm, particularly to encourage volunteering by those with high support needs.
