Blocking Brain Damage in Diabetes 31 May 2017
Professor Rory McCrimmon will investigate whether high blood glucose levels and regular episodes of hypoglycaemia ('hypos') contribute to accelerated ageing of the brain, which is seen in some people with diabetes. His findings could reveal a way to improve the defence systems in the brain to help prevent these changes.

The delivery of 12 wheelchair skills workshops across Scotland for local children who are physically disabled and wheelchair users. The plan this year is to expand the small charity and establish a training team based in Scotland. This will be the first satellite training team in Scotland enabling us to meet the growing need in the region and deliver a greater number of workshops across the country.
