The project will be implemented by ccHub in Nigeria and iSpace in Ghana. Both organisations are grantees under this project and contracts have been signed with them.

Upper Springland ICT suite refurbishment 05 Mar 2018
The project will purchase new height adjustable specialized computer desks to allow direct wheelchair access in the Information and Communication Technology suite at Upper Springland, one of Capability Scotlands residential and day services in Perth. This will enable wheelchair access in the ICT suite and as a result the residents at Upper Springland to use the equipment to its full capacity for educational and social purposes without significant staff support.
Getting IT 05 Mar 2018
The project will up-skill community groups, community council members, self-help groups, faith organisations, and anchor organisations to support people with little or no experience to access the internet. We will focus on supporting organisations to be confident in discussing basic online skills for individuals e.g. send/receive e-mails, use search engine, identify spam etc, and supporting their members/clients to gain these skills by embedding the activity in their regular work.

Net Axs (Wick) 06 Mar 2018
Net Axs (Wick) will allow us to extend our current provision in the Caithness and North Sutherland area. We will give individuals supported access to PCs two days per week from the Wick CAB office. Those benefitting from the activity are older adults, vulnerable adults and the unemployed although anyone will be allowed to use a computer for whatever (legal) use. They are individuals who do not have access at home to IT equipment, cannot afford broadband, have no printer or don't have the skills and knowledge to use a computer.
The Greenhouse Digital Inclusion Project. 05 Mar 2018
The aim of the project is to provide accessible laptop computers to the community of Dingwall and surrounding areas for those who have no hardware (laptops) and/or access to the Internet. The café area of the shop currently provides a warm, welcoming and affordable space for those seeking company, friendship and a cheap alternative to private profit orientated cafes in the local area. We provide a place for people of all social circumstance to come together and linger as long as they like.
Toryglen Digital Base 05 Mar 2018
The project will update donated equipment which is five years old in the Toryglen IT suite , The Digital base will be used to undertake IT training and development for local residents from 16 to pensioners, who have limited or no access to IT and the internet and to increase skills and knowledge to allow them to fully engage. We will work with Clyde College and Glasgow Life who will provide tutors for the training and with Jobs and Business who will support our job club activity. Output- to increase access to IT facilities and training for the local population so they can fully engage in on-line services and digital information.
