This group, based in South Queensferry, will provide a community space within the recently refurbished church hall. The grant will contribute to fitting out the new hall which will be used for a range of activities.
True Colours autism consultancy and training 17 May 2017
The funding will be used to run a series of training courses for staff, volunteers and people on the autism spectrum to be able to deliver autism training to the community. This will include creating a video and information sheets. The project aims to provide an improved service for people on the autistic spectrum, as well as boost their confidence and engagement in the local community.

The group will run dance workshops for young people. This will encourage young people to take part in fun, physical exercise, with the aim of reducing obesity and health inequalities.
This group will use the funding to repair walls at a nursery, improving facilities for the local community.

Advocacy and support services will be funded for people who are living with dementia and their families. This will improve life skills and help people make better informed choices.
Smarter Warmth for Dementia Care 03 May 2017
This funding will be used to conduct research into the potential for wearable technology, to provide alert systems for the effects of cold and damp homes on people living with dementia. This will enable earlier interventions to avoid health problems.
Hebron House Resettlement Project 06 Sep 2017
This group will use the funding to develop their drop-in service to support the resettlement of ex-prison offenders into their local communities. This will improve their quality of life through increasing employability and life skills and enable them to rebuild their lives.
This school will use the funding to create an outdoor space where early years children can engage in creative and investigative play. This will engage children and their parents to strengthen their relationships, which will support the development of skills in communication, as well as physical skills.

The group will use the funding to make improvements to create a community cafe. This will provide people with a venue where they can engage in social activities, encouraging community engagement and reducing users’ feelings of isolation.
