Wellbeing Through Nature 16 Jun 2016
This project will support people with mental health issues and learning disabilities across Bristol, Bath and North and North East Somerset through exploring and taking care of nature. It will provide a structured programme of outdoor activities, such as community allotment work, park clean ups, tree planting, nature walks, food growing and outdoor cooking. This will give people access to natural environments, and help them gain skills, build confidence, improve well-being and lead healthier lives.

A project to support young people aged 16-24 in hardship crisis, the project will include access to a range of specialist and general advice, legal advice, training and support. The scheme will also train peer mentors, including youth advice navigators to help beneficiaries access vital support to reduce poverty, improve health and wellbeing, increase financial capability and improve resilience and self empowerment.
A Celebration of the Chinese New Year 05 Dec 2016
This project will celebrate Chinese New Year, bringing communities together through educational, cultural and social activities. The programme of events will include performances from martial artists and folk dancers, as well as opportunities for people to try traditional Chinese folk dancing and arts and crafts, such as origami, calligraphy and watercolour painting.
Empire Inclusion Project 16 Dec 2015
This is the development of an existing project supporting disadvantaged young people who are failing at school, at risk of crime or unemployment or having emotional problems, and helping them turn their lives around through non-contact boxing. This breaks down barriers to communication to help people talk honestly about the issues they face. The project will also include numeracy and literacy, employment skills, mentoring and counselling to help grow confidence, self-esteem and self-discipline.

The group will use the funding to improve the schoolâ€™s play and learning environment for nursery and preschool children. This will enable young children to play in a stimulating outdoor setting in all weathers, contributing to healthier lifestyle.

The group will use the funding to deliver an intergenerational creative art project in a community that is experiencing the effects of inequality and social isolation. This will remove barriers between age groups and engage the beneficiaries in a positive manner which will encourage cohesion.

This project will use the funding to expand their playground area with a bonded rubber surface. This will increase the capacity to enable more people to play in a safer environment.
The group will use the funding to provide training for childcare providers regarding recruitment and creative activities. This will enable beneficiaries to deliver high quality childcare services with an effective and efficient staff team.
Propagation Place: Phase 2 08 Mar 2017
This group will use the funding to develop an accessible community garden space where older people and people with limited mobility, learning difficulties or mental health problems can take part in gardening activities. This will encourage people to engage in horticulture and improve community engagement.
Volunteer Training Event 28 Sep 2016
This is a project by a charity in Bristol, that will benefit people across England. The group will use the funding to deliver training for its volunteers that will enable the organisation to improve how it supports its service users who are experiencing long term medical problems. This will build capacity for this organisationâ€™s outreach work.
This school will use the funding to install play equipment on their grounds. Children will be able to take part in activities which benefit their development, health and wellbeing.

The group will use the funding to deliver a coaching and support programme to 60 people at risk of becoming homeless. This will enable beneficiaries the opportunity to build resilience and give them better chances for the future.

The project supports children and young people in care or living in difficult circumstances due to low income, disadvantage and discrimination. Beneficiaries will take part in a range of activities designed to increase confidence, self-esteem and life skills which will improve their life chances. These include outdoor days away and residential trips, one to one support and community activities. The project will also work with and support their families.
Fairfield Family Garden 29 Apr 2015
The group will use the funding to provide a family garden to engage all members of the community including those with English as a second language. This will give beneficiaries' access to a safe green space in this built up urban inner-city area.
The group will use the funding to improve the lives of young transgender people in the Bristol area by providing advice on coping with social anxiety, depression, low mood and suicidal thoughts. This will help beneficiaries with feelings of isolation, vulnerability, inequality and discrimination whilst improving self-image in respect of being transgender.
